Struthers, Ohio is a city located in Mahoning County, Ohio, United States. It is part of the Youngstown-Warren-Boardman metropolitan statistical area. The population was 10,713 at the 2010 census.
History
Struthers was founded in 1885 by John Struthers, a Scottish immigrant who had come to the United States in 1848. He purchased a large tract of land in the area and began to develop it. He named the town after himself and it was incorporated as a village in 1891.
Struthers grew rapidly in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, becoming a major industrial center. The city was home to several steel mills, including the Struthers Iron and Steel Company, which was founded in 1892. The city also had several other industries, including a glass factory, a pottery factory, and a brickyard.

Struthers is located at 41°3′17″N 80°37′17″W (41.054722, -80.621389). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.2 square miles (5.7 km2), all land.

The average household size was 2.35 and the average family size was 2.94.
