Glandorf is a village located in Putnam County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,093 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Ottawa-Glandorf Local School District.
History
Glandorf was founded in 1845 by German immigrants who had come to the area from Pennsylvania. The village was named after the German city of Glandorf, which is located in the state of Lower Saxony. The first settlers were mostly farmers, and the village grew slowly over the years. In 1875, the first school was built, and in 1876, the first church was established.
In the early 1900s, Glandorf began to experience a period of growth. The village was incorporated in 1908, and the first mayor was elected in 1909. The village continued to grow, and by the 1950s, it had become a thriving community.

Glandorf is located at 41°14'17" North, 84°14'17" West (41.238, -84.238). According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km2), all land.

Glandorf is a small, rural community with a primarily agricultural economy. The village is home to several small businesses, including a grocery store, a hardware store, and a few restaurants. The racial makeup of the village was 97.7% White, 0.2% African American, 0.2% Native American, 0.2% Asian, 0.2% from other races, and 1.7% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.7% of the population.
There were 431 households, out of which 33.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.2% were married couples living together, 9.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.2% were non-families. 28.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.54 and the average family size was 3.14.
In the village, the population was spread out, with 27.2% under the age of 18, 7.2% from 18 to 24, 28.2% from 25 to 44, 22.2% from 45 to 64, and 15.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females, there were 95.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.2 males.
