Wolfdale Summary

Wolfdale, Pennsylvania is a small borough located in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania. It is situated in the northern part of the state, in Clearfield County, and is part of the DuBois, PA Micropolitan Statistical Area. The population of Wolfdale was 1,093 at the 2010 census.

History

Wolfdale was founded in 1845 by a group of settlers from Germany. The town was named after the Wolf family, who were among the first settlers. The Wolf family owned a large tract of land in the area, and the town was built around their homestead.
