Timblin Borough is a small borough located in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. It is situated in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains and is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The borough has a population of approximately 1,000 people and covers an area of 0.6 square miles.

History

Timblin Borough was founded in 1876 by a group of settlers from the nearby town of Punxsutawney. The settlers named the borough after a local Native American chief, Chief Timblin. The borough was officially incorporated in 1877 and has remained a small, rural community ever since.
