Dale Borough is a small borough located in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. It is situated in the southwestern corner of the county, and is bordered by the townships of Hanover, Raccoon, and Independence. The population of Dale Borough was 1,845 at the 2010 census.

History

Dale Borough was founded in 1876, and was named after the Dale family, who were early settlers in the area. The borough was incorporated in 1877, and the first mayor was elected in 1878. The first post office was established in 1879.
In the early 1900s, Dale Borough was a thriving industrial center, with several coal mines, brickyards, and other businesses. The borough was also home to a number of churches, including the First Presbyterian Church, which was founded in 1883.

The racial makeup of the borough was 97.3% White, 0.7% African American, 0.2% Native American, 0.2% Asian, 0.1% from other races, and 1.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.7% of the population.
There were 745 households, out of which 28.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.2% were married couples living together, 12.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.7% were non-families. 29.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
