There were 233 housing units at an average density of 786.3 per square mile (304.3/km2). The racial makeup of the borough was 98.18% White, 0.37% African American, 0.18% Native American, 0.37% Asian, and 0.92% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.37% of the population.
There were 221 households, out of which 28.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.9% were married couples living together, 11.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.4% were non-families. 24.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
