Callery Borough is a small borough located in Butler County, Pennsylvania. It is situated in the southeastern corner of the county, approximately 25 miles north of Pittsburgh. The borough is bordered by the townships of Adams, Clay, and Forward. As of the 2010 census, the population of Callery Borough was 1,072.
History
Callery Borough was founded in 1876 by a group of settlers from the nearby town of Evans City. The settlers named the borough after the Callery family, who had owned the land since the early 1800s. The Callery family had originally come to the area from Scotland in the late 1700s.
The first post office in Callery was established in 1877 The borough was incorporated in 1883
