Geography

St. Helen is located at 44°25′N 84°25′W (44.4133, -84.4133). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2), all land.
The town is located on the south shore of Higgins Lake, which is part of the Houghton Lake area. The lake is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and other recreational activities.
