Sulphur Springs is a small town located in the state of Indiana, in the United States. It is situated in the southwestern part of the state, in the county of Posey. The town has a population of around 1,000 people, and is part of the Evansville metropolitan area.

History

Sulphur Springs was founded in 1817 by a group of settlers from Kentucky. The town was named after the nearby Sulphur Springs, which were believed to have healing properties. The town was originally a farming community, and the main crops grown were corn, wheat, and oats.
