Fillmore Summary

Fillmore, Indiana is a small town located in Putnam County, Indiana. It is situated on the banks of the Big Walnut Creek, about 25 miles west of Indianapolis. The town was founded in 1837 and was named after President Millard Fillmore. The population of Fillmore was 1,093 at the 2010 census.

Geography

Fillmore is located at 39°45'45" North, 86°45'45" West (39.7625, -86.7625). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2), all of it land.
