Dry Creek is a small unincorporated community located in the southeastern corner of Oklahoma, in the United States. History

The area that is now Dry Creek was first settled in the late 1800s by settlers from the Choctaw Nation. The town was originally known as “Dry Creek Station”, and was a stop on the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway. The town was officially established in 1902, and was named after the nearby creek.
In the early 1900s, Dry Creek was a thriving community, with a post office, a general store, a blacksmith shop, a cotton gin, and a school. The town also had a hotel, a bank, and a newspaper.
In the 1920s, the town began to decline, as the railroad stopped running through the area. The population of the town decreased, and many of the businesses closed.
