Big Cabin is located at 36°45'25"N 95°11'17"W (36.7569, -95.1881). It is situated in the northeastern part of Oklahoma, about 20 miles east of Vinita. The town is located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains and is surrounded by rolling hills and wooded areas. The nearest major city is Tulsa, which is about 50 miles to the south.
