Albion Summary
Albion is a small town located in the southeastern corner of Oklahoma, in Pushmataha County. It is situated on the banks of the Kiamichi River, and is surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest. The town was founded in 1891, and was named after the mythical island of Albion in the British Isles.

Albion is located at 34°45'N 95°17'W, and has an elevation of 590 feet. The town is situated in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains, and is surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest. The Kiamichi River runs through the town, and is a popular spot for fishing and canoeing. The town is located approximately 20 miles from the nearest major city, Antlers, Oklahoma.
Climate
Albion has a humid subtropical climate, with hot summers and mild winters. The average high temperature in the summer is around 90°F, and the average low temperature in the winter is around 30°F. The town receives an average of 48 inches of precipitation per year, with most of it falling in the spring and summer months.
