Griswold Summary

Griswold is a city located in Cass County, Iowa, United States. The population was 1,093 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Atlantic Micropolitan Statistical Area.

History

Griswold was founded in 1871 by the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad. The town was named after the Griswold family, who were early settlers in the area. The first post office was established in 1872.
