Duluth Summary

Duluth, Minnesota is a city located in the state of Minnesota, United States. It is the second-largest city in the state and the fourth-largest in the Midwest. The city is situated on the westernmost tip of Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes. History

The area that is now Duluth was first inhabited by the Ojibwe people, who called the area “Gichi-oodena”, meaning “great hill”.
