Pennock Summary

Pennock is a small city located in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota. It is situated on the banks of the Chippewa River, about 25 miles west of Willmar. The city was founded in 1887 and was named after the Pennock family, who were early settlers in the area. As of the 2010 census, the population of Pennock was 545.

History

The area that is now Pennock was first settled in the late 1800s by the Pennock family. The family had moved to the area from Pennsylvania and were among the first settlers in the area. The city was officially incorporated in 1887 and was named after the Pennock family.
