History
The area that is now Everman was first settled in the late 1800s. The town was named after William Everman, a local farmer who donated land for the town's first school. The town was officially incorporated in 1949.
Geography
Everman is located at 32°37'25" North, 97°17'45" West (32.623750, -97.295833). It is situated in the southeastern part of Tarrant County, approximately 15 miles south of downtown Fort Worth.
The city has a total area of 2.2 square miles, all of which is land. The terrain is mostly flat, with some rolling hills. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot summers and mild winters.
Economy
The economy of Everman is largely based on manufacturing and retail. The city is home to several factories, including a plant that produces plastic containers. There are also several retail stores in the city, including a Walmart Supercenter.
