Landis Summary

Landis is a small town located in Rowan County, North Carolina. It is situated approximately 25 miles northeast of Charlotte and is part of the Charlotte metropolitan area. The town was founded in 1891 and was named after the Landis family, who were early settlers in the area. The population of Landis was 2,845 as of the 2010 census.
