Wallsburg is a small unincorporated community located in Wasatch County, Utah, United States. Wallsburg was first settled in 1859 by a group of Mormon pioneers led by John Wall. The settlement was originally known as Wall’s Fort, but was later changed to Wallsburg in honor of its founder. The town was officially incorporated in 1877.
Wallsburg was an important stop on the Union Pacific Railroad, which ran through the town from 1869 to 1941. The railroad provided a vital link between Salt Lake City and the mining towns of Park City and Coalville.

Wallsburg is located in the Wasatch Mountains at an elevation of 5,890 feet. The town is situated in a valley surrounded by mountains on all sides. The nearest major city is Salt Lake City, which is located 30 miles to the west.
