Perry Summary

Perry is a city located in Box Elder County, Utah, United States. The population was 5,215 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area.

History

Perry was first settled in 1864 by a group of Mormon pioneers led by William H. Perry. The town was named after William H. Perry, who was the first settler in the area. The town was incorporated in 1891.

Geography

Perry is located at 41°14'25" North, 112°2'17" West (41.240278, -112.038194). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.3 square miles (11.2 km2), all land.

Economy

Perry is home to several businesses, including a Walmart Supercenter, a Home Depot, and a Lowe's Home Improvement store. The city also has a number of restaurants, including a McDonald's, a Burger King, and a Subway.
