Campbellsburg is a small town located in Henry County, Kentucky, United States. It is situated along the Kentucky River, approximately 25 miles northeast of Louisville. The population was 545 at the 2010 census.

History

Campbellsburg was founded in 1818 by William Campbell, a Revolutionary War veteran. The town was named after him and was originally known as Campbell's Station. The town was incorporated in 1837 and was the county seat of Henry County until 1871.

Campbellsburg is located at 38°25'25"N 85°14'17"W (38.423750, -85.237917). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2), all land.

The economy of Campbellsburg is largely based on agriculture. The town is home to several farms, including the Campbellsburg Farm, which produces corn, soybeans, and hay. The town also has a few small businesses, including a grocery store, a hardware store, and a restaurant.
