History
Cross Timbers, Missouri is a small town located in Dallas County, Missouri. It is situated on the banks of the Osage River, and is part of the Ozark Plateau. The town was founded in 1837 by a group of settlers from Tennessee, who were looking for a place to settle and start a new life.
