Brooklyn Heights is a small city located in St. Louis County, Missouri. It is situated on the banks of the Mississippi River, just south of the city of St. Louis. The city has a population of approximately 1,500 people and is part of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area.

History

Brooklyn Heights was founded in 1868 by a group of German immigrants who had recently arrived in the United States. The city was named after the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood in New York City. The immigrants were attracted to the area due to its proximity to the Mississippi River and its potential for economic growth.
The city quickly grew and by the early 1900s, it had become a thriving industrial center. The city was home to several factories, including a brickyard, a brewery, and a paper mill. The city also had a large number of stores and businesses, including a bank, a post office, and a hotel.
