McLaughlin Summary

Mclaughlin is a small town located in the northwest corner of South Dakota, in the United States. It is the county seat of Corson County and is situated on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation. The town was founded in 1883 and was named after the first postmaster, John Mclaughlin. The population of Mclaughlin was 590 at the 2010 census.
