Lebo Summary

Lebo is a small town located in Coffey County, Kansas, United States. The population was 845 at the 2010 census. It is located on the Marais des Cygnes River.

Geography

Lebo is located at 38°17'25" North, 95°45'17" West (38.290278, -95.754722). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km2), all of it land.

History

Lebo was founded in 1871 by a group of settlers from Lebo, Pennsylvania. The town was named after the Pennsylvania town. The first post office in Lebo was established in 1872.
