Petrey Summary
History
Petrey, Alabama is a small town located in Crenshaw County, Alabama. It is situated in the southeastern part of the state, about 20 miles south of Troy and 30 miles north of Dothan. The town was founded in 1883 by William Petrey, a local farmer and businessman. Petrey was originally a small farming community, but it has since grown to become a small town with a population of around 500 people.
