Sheyenne is a small city located in the southeastern corner of North Dakota, United States. It is the county seat of Eddy County and is located on the Sheyenne River. The city was founded in 1882 and has a population of approximately 1,000 people.

Geography

Sheyenne is located in the Red River Valley, a flat, fertile region of the Great Plains. The city is situated on the Sheyenne River, which flows through the city and is a tributary of the Red River. The city is located approximately 50 miles from the Minnesota border and is about a two-hour drive from Fargo, North Dakota.
