Burlington Summary

Burlington is a small city located in the state of North Dakota, United States. It is situated in the southeastern corner of the state, near the border with Minnesota. The city has a population of approximately 1,000 people and is the county seat of Grand Forks County.

History

Burlington was founded in 1883 by a group of settlers from Burlington, Wisconsin. The city was named after the Wisconsin city, and was incorporated in 1885. The city was originally a farming community, but in the early 1900s, it began to develop into a small industrial center. The city was home to a number of factories, including a flour mill, a creamery, and a brickyard.
