Kendrick Summary

Kendrick, Idaho is a small town located in Latah County, in the northern part of the state. It is situated in the Palouse region of the Pacific Northwest, and is surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. The town has a population of just over 500 people, and is known for its rural charm and friendly atmosphere.

History

Kendrick was founded in 1883 by a group of settlers from Wisconsin. The town was named after the first postmaster, William Kendrick. The settlers were attracted to the area by the fertile soil and abundant natural resources. The town quickly grew, and by the early 1900s, it had become a thriving agricultural center.
The town was also home to a number of businesses, including a flour mill, a sawmill, a creamery, and a blacksmith shop. In the early 1900s, the town was also home to a number of churches, including the Methodist Episcopal Church, the Congregational Church, and the Presbyterian Church.
