Slaughter Summary

Slaughter, Louisiana is a small town located in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. It is situated on the banks of the Tickfaw River, approximately 25 miles north of Baton Rouge. The town was founded in 1837 and named after the Slaughter family, who were among the first settlers in the area. The population of Slaughter was 1,845 as of the 2010 census.
