Roseville, Illinois is a small village located in Warren County, Illinois. It is situated in the western part of the state, about 25 miles east of the Mississippi River. The village has a population of 1,845 people, according to the 2010 census.

History

Roseville was founded in 1854 by a group of settlers from Ohio. The village was named after the wild roses that grew in the area. The first post office was established in 1855. The village was incorporated in 1872.
