Woods Hole Summary

Woods Hole is a small village located in the town of Falmouth, Massachusetts on the southwestern tip of Cape Cod. It is a popular tourist destination due to its proximity to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, as well as its picturesque harbor and beaches. History

The area now known as Woods Hole was first settled by the Wampanoag people in the 17th century.
