Verndale Summary

Verndale, Minnesota is a small city located in Wadena County in the central part of the state. It is situated on the banks of the Leaf River and is home to a population of approximately 1,000 people. The city is known for its rural charm and is a popular destination for outdoor recreation.

History

Verndale was founded in 1881 by a group of settlers from Wisconsin. The city was named after Verndale, Wisconsin, the hometown of the settlers.
