Kimball Summary

Kimball, Minnesota is a small city located in Stearns County, Minnesota. It is situated on the banks of the Sauk River, and is part of the St. Cloud Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city has a population of 1,845 people, according to the 2010 census.

History

Kimball was founded in 1856 by a group of settlers from Wisconsin. The city was named after the first settler, William Kimball, who was a veteran of the Civil War. The city was incorporated in 1872.
