Frost Summary

Frost, Minnesota is a small city located in the southeastern corner of the state, in Freeborn County. It is situated on the banks of the Shell Rock River, and is surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. The city has a population of just over 1,000 people, and is known for its small-town charm and friendly atmosphere.

History

Frost was founded in 1856 by a group of settlers from Sweden. The settlers named the town after their hometown of Frost, Sweden. The town was originally a farming community, and the settlers grew wheat, oats, and corn. In the late 1800s, the town began to grow and develop, and a post office was established in 1887.
In the early 1900s, Frost began to experience a period of growth and prosperity. The town was home to several businesses, including a general store, a blacksmith shop, and a hotel. The town also had a school, a church, and a library.
In the 1950s, Frost experienced a period of decline. Many of the businesses closed, and the population began to decline. However, in the late 1970s, the town began to experience a resurgence. The town was revitalized, and new businesses opened.
