Verona Summary

Verona, Ohio is a small village located in the southeastern corner of Licking County, Ohio. It is situated on the banks of the Licking River, approximately 25 miles east of Columbus. The village has a population of approximately 1,000 people and covers an area of 0.6 square miles.

History

Verona was founded in 1817 by a group of settlers from Pennsylvania. The village was named after the Italian city of Verona, which was the birthplace of one of the settlers.
