Cadiz is a small city located in Harrison County, Ohio, United States. It is situated along the Ohio River, approximately 40 miles south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The population was 2,945 at the 2010 census.

History

Cadiz was founded in 1803 by a group of settlers from Pennsylvania. The town was named after the Spanish city of Cadiz, which was the birthplace of one of the settlers. The town was incorporated in 1817.
