Bradner Summary

Bradner is a village located in Wood County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,093 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Toledo Metropolitan Statistical Area.

History

Bradner was founded in 1854 by John Bradner, a farmer from Pennsylvania. He purchased the land from the government and began to develop the area. The village was incorporated in 1876.
The village was originally a farming community, but in the early 1900s, the area began to develop into a manufacturing center. The first factory was a brickyard, which opened in 1902. This was followed by a furniture factory, a canning factory, and a foundry.
The village was also home to a number of small businesses, including a general store, a blacksmith shop, and a hotel.

The economy of Bradner is largely based on manufacturing. The village is home to several factories, including a furniture factory, a canning factory, and a foundry.
