Bettsville Summary

Bettsville is a village located in Seneca County, Ohio, United States. The population was 545 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tiffin Micropolitan Statistical Area.

History

Bettsville was founded in 1837 by John Betts, a local farmer. The village was originally known as Bettsville, but the name was changed to Bettsville in 1845. The village was incorporated in 1854.

Geography

Bettsville is located at 41°7′17″N 83°7′17″W (41.121400, -83.121400). According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.3 km2), all land.
