Bailey is a small town located in Nash County, North Carolina. It is situated in the northeastern part of the state, approximately 30 miles east of Raleigh. The town has a population of approximately 1,500 people and is part of the Rocky Mount Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Bailey is located in the Coastal Plain region of North Carolina. The town is situated on the banks of the Tar River, which flows through the town and provides a source of recreation for the locals. The town is surrounded by rolling hills and farmland, and is located near the intersection of US Highway 301 and NC Highway 581.

Climate

Bailey has a humid subtropical climate, with hot, humid summers and mild winters. The average annual temperature is around 70 degrees Fahrenheit, with temperatures reaching as high as 95 degrees in the summer and as low as 25 degrees in the winter. The town receives an average of 48 inches of precipitation per year, with most of it falling in the summer months.
