Fairwood Cdp Spokane County, WA is located at 47°41'17"N 117°20'17"W (47.688, -117.338). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.3 square miles (11.2 km2), all of it land.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there were 8,845 people, 3,541 households, and 2,541 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,072.2 people per square mile (800.3/km2). There were 3,717 housing units at an average density of 860.2/sq mi (332.2/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 91.2% White, 1.2% African American, 0.9% Native American, 2.2% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, 1.7% from other races, and 2.7% from two or more races.
