Pellston Summary

Pellston is a small village located in Emmet County, Michigan, United States. The village is situated in the northern part of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, approximately 10 miles (16 km) south of the Mackinac Bridge. The population of Pellston was 590 at the 2010 census.

History

Pellston was founded in 1876 by William Pell, a lumberman from Ohio. The village was named after him. The village was incorporated in 1891.
