Fallston borough Summary

Fallston Borough is a small borough located in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. It is situated in the southwestern corner of the county, approximately 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. The borough is bordered by the townships of Chippewa, Darlington, and New Sewickley. As of the 2010 census, the population of Fallston Borough was 1,845.

History

The area that is now Fallston Borough was first settled in the late 1700s by a group of German immigrants. The town was originally known as “Falls Town”, named after the nearby falls on the Beaver River. In 1838, the town was officially incorporated as the Borough of Fallston.
The town grew slowly over the next few decades, with the population reaching just over 500 by the turn of the century.
