Gorman Summary

Gorman is a small town located in Eastland County, Texas, United States. It is situated on the western edge of the Edwards Plateau, approximately 80 miles west of Fort Worth and 100 miles east of Abilene. The town was founded in 1881 and named after the Gorman family, who were early settlers in the area. As of the 2010 census, the population of Gorman was 602.
