Bells, Texas is a small town located in Grayson County, Texas. It is situated about 15 miles north of Sherman and about 75 miles north of Dallas. The town was founded in 1873 and was named after the Bell family, who were early settlers in the area. The population of Bells was 1,717 at the 2010 census.

Geography

Bells is located at 33°41'25" North, 96°30'25" West (33.690278, -96.506944). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2), all of it land.

Bells is a small town with a limited economy. The town is home to several small businesses, including a grocery store, a hardware store, a pharmacy, and a few restaurants. The town also has a few manufacturing plants, including a plastics plant and a metal fabrication plant.
