Pickens Summary

Pickens, South Carolina is a small town located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the northwestern corner of the state. It is the county seat of Pickens County and is home to a population of approximately 3,000 people. The town was founded in 1828 and named after Andrew Pickens, a Revolutionary War hero and U.S. Congressman from South Carolina.
