Rolfe is a small city located in Pocahontas County, Iowa, United States. The population was 845 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Pocahontas County.

History

Rolfe was founded in 1881 by a group of settlers from Norway. The town was named after Rolfe, Norway, the hometown of the settlers. The first post office was established in 1882. The town was incorporated in 1887.
