Trenton Summary

Trenton is a city located in Gibson County, Tennessee, United States. It is the county seat of Gibson County and is located along the banks of the South Fork of the Forked Deer River. The population was 5,265 at the 2010 census.

History

Trenton was founded in 1823 by William Trent, a Revolutionary War veteran. The city was named after him and was incorporated in 1824.
