Wilsall is a small town located in Park County, Montana, United States. The town is situated in the Shields Valley, between the Crazy Mountains and the Bridger Mountains. The population of Wilsall was estimated to be 441 in 2019.
History
The area around Wilsall was first settled in the late 1800s by ranchers and homesteaders. The town was founded in 1883 and named after the Wilsall family, who were among the first settlers in the area. The town was originally known as Wilsall Station, as it was a stop on the Northern Pacific Railroad.
