Hanover Summary

Hanover, Kansas is a small town located in the northeastern corner of the state, in Washington County. It is situated on the banks of the Big Blue River, and is surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. History

Hanover was founded in 1871 by German immigrants who had come to the area in search of a better life. The town was named after the city of Hanover in Germany, and the settlers quickly established a thriving community.
